Ethereum Yellow Paper — 2018 EIP-150 Snapshot
A formal account of Ethereum's state transition, transactions, gas, EVM execution, blocks, and networking-era assumptions at an EIP-150 proof-of-work snapshot.
The document is valuable for the formal state-transition perspective: world state, transactions, receipts, gas accounting, message calls, contract creation, and EVM execution are specified as transformations rather than product prose.
The supplied file identifies an EIP-150-era protocol and contains proof-of-work, transaction, opcode, gas, and networking details that are historical. Current Ethereum work must use maintained execution specifications, consensus specifications, fork-specific EIPs, and devp2p specs.

All 33 physical pages were rendered and inspected; OCR was used because the PDF lacked usable text. The state-transition notation, trie/commitment relationships, and EVM tables are information-bearing. No page image is retained: GTK teaches the current two-layer architecture and uses maintained specifications for present semantics.
